Cordain is a secondary character from The Heart of the Baenor, which I’m currently working on the third draft of. He’s an elf from the region Shae-Nir in Kaloris, and he sees the world very different from Catessa, who’s the main character of the book. (Somehow I haven’t interviewed her yet.) One of the things I most miss after having changed the novel to be almost entirely from Catessa’s point-of-view is that Cordain’s cool worldview doesn’t get explored nearly as much. But on to the interview. :)
Griffyn is a character from The Shadow Raven, a member of the royal council due to his position as captain of the army’s archers. That’s pretty much all I know about him at this point (unfortunately), but here goes his interview.
Nya is the main character of my short story Lost Girl, available now by itself on Kindle or in the Short Story Collection Vol. 1 which is available on Kindle or in print. She’s a pirate captain who’s deeply attached to her crew but doesn’t tolerate any stupidity. She loathes Peter Pan with a seething passion, seeing as she’s Captain Hook’s granddaughter, and she’s stubborn. Enjoy her interview. :) Continue reading “Character Interview: Nya Hook”
Torin is one of three main characters in The Heart of the Baenor. He’s the least focused-on of those three, but he has a complex backstory and struggle of his own and it’s spotlighted about halfway through the book. He’s a ranger and a dwarf-friend laden with guilt over an accident that happened several years ago. Enjoy his interview. :)
Wisterin is a character from The King’s Paladin, and she grew up with Coraline and Toril (she’s also featured in The Paladins, so if you decide she’s interesting you should consider checking that out in my Short Story Collection Vol. 1). She’s a spy, and you probably don’t want to get on the wrong side of her because she could kill you while you sleep, though her flirtatious exterior might indicate otherwise. Enjoy her interview. :)
