Farewell to March

March’s Writing

I’ve only written a total of 19,891 this month, which is a lot less than I’d like. Things haven’t gone well this month with The Shadow Raven; I thought I finally had it sorted out about halfway through the month and was able to write another chapter, but then I got stuck again and now I’m not sure where I want it to go.

The smoothest writing I was able to do was a couple thousand Continue reading “Farewell to March”

Farewell to January

Farewell to January

We’re already a full month into 2018. Wow.

January’s Writing

The first half of my month was swallowed by procrastination because I limited myself to finishing the last five short stories for my collection. I finished one of those, and then a few days ago I decided to let go of the last four and I feel so much better for doing so. I do plan to finish those last four and publish them as a part two Continue reading “Farewell to January”

Farewell to November

Farewell to November

NaNoWriMo is ended (it actually ended for me somewhere around the 18th) and now it’s time to take stock.

November’s Writing

I’ve written 50k this month on varying projects. 33k of it was on The Shadow Raven, as intended, but then I fell off of that and I’ve been working on short stories and blog posts instead. Continue reading “Farewell to November”

Farewell to September

Farewell to September

Another month is done, and NaNoWriMo is only a month away. Hooray! But before we get into prep for NaNoWriMo season, let’s backtrack and see what I did in September.

September’s Writing

Over the course of September I’ve written 46,865 all totaled, 20,621 of which was on The Last Assassin, my current WIP. I also wrote Continue reading “Farewell to September”

Farewell to August

Farewell to August

August’s Writing

August has had a lot of worldbuilding and development for The Dark War Trilogy. I’ve designed flags, royal seals, a brand for traitors, I’ve created all the advisors I think I’ll need for royal councils, I’ve come up with a new way to timeline that’s working really well for my overlapping storylines, and I’ve finished several character profiles, among other things.

I’ve also written a short story Continue reading “Farewell to August”
