Ammadeus is a mentor character to Coraline in The King’s Paladin (which you’ll be getting an excerpt of tomorrow). You’ll see that he’s pretty brooding and mysterious, and he’s a seer (the only one in the word, I think) which places a lot of responsibility upon his shoulders.
