Alleyn Everlind is king of Roenor and father of Detren Everlind. He’s Detren’s role model at the beginning of The Shadow Raven, and his son is a lot like him. Continue reading “Character Interview: Alleyn Everlind”

NaNoWriMo Update Week 3
Before I continue, I need to give you an update… on my updates. I’m going on a two-week vacation starting today, so I won’t have updates again until December 4th. I still have posts scheduled between now and then, but my update posts will have a void because I wrote them all yesterday. Another couple of updates: There won’t be a short story on the third, and I’m starting an advent series for December, so for every day until Christmas I’ll have a poem, flash fiction, or post related to Christmas or winter. These posts will be in addition to your regularly scheduled programming as it was before November. Continue reading “NaNoWriMo Update Week 3”

NaNoWriMo Weeks 1-2 Update
*bangs head on desk* I have fallen so far off the rails with blogging this month. I’m sorry. I’ve been too absorbed in NaNoWriMo to actually… write about NaNoWriMo. So I’ve missed seven excerpts, an update, a poem, and a character interview. Aren’t I just doing fabulously? I plan on getting back on track from this post onward, and this time I’ll work harder at keeping up despite NaNoWriMo. Continue reading “NaNoWriMo Weeks 1-2 Update”
Small Talk – NaNoWriMo Excerpt Day #4
“Good evening, Prince Detren.”
Oh no. How had he missed that Anaya was sitting almost directly across from him? “Good evening, Miss Morwen.”
“Please, just call me Anaya.”
Detren smiled, hoping she couldn’t see the sourness behind it. There was no way Continue reading “Small Talk – NaNoWriMo Excerpt Day #4”
